Diggle School is a true community school in the heart of the Saddleworth countryside. We currently have vacancies in most year groups, and accept pupils from any area. If you’d like to come in for an informal chat, or have a look around our school, we’d be delighted to see you.
Here at Diggle School we believe that education doesn’t just happen in the classroom and we strongly promote many extra-curricular activities including sports and music.
Diggle School football teams have played at a number of tournaments this year. Two of which were at the Manchester City Complex. A lot of dreams came true that day!
We’ve also had visits from both a Commonwealth and Olympic champion. The children got to chat to their heroes and even hold their medals.
If that wasn’t enough we’ve also been busy competing against our local schools. The children especially loved the archery and athletics competitions and were a credit to both themselves and our Diggle School family.
We also have our own brass band and are pleased to be able to offer music tuition in brass, woodwind, keyboard and percussion.
