About us

Welcome to Diggle School, where we aim to give pupils the best possible start in life. It is a happy vibrant school because it is a community where the partnerships between governors, staff, parents, pupils and the wider community are valued.

Our school is set in wonderful grounds, which we use to stimulate learning and as the basis for many topics and clubs. Children also spend playtimes and lunchtimes exploring, therefore wellies are an essential part of the school uniform here at Diggle.

At Diggle we believe in developing the ‘whole child’ and giving them not only the academic but also the life skills that they will need to succeed in school and the world beyond.

Our academic expectations are high and we strive to ensure that all pupils fulfil their potential.  We believe that all children have talents and it is our job to provide them with opportunities to discover and unlock them. To this end we offer a wide range of activities including, music, sport, drama, art and dancing both during and outside the school day. Our dedicated and talented staff pride themselves on creating well rounded, confident, lifelong learners who can flourish
